As a tax intern at PwC’s Financial Services Real Estate team, I found my journey incredibly insightful. Despite my legal background and initial apprehension about tax, PwC’s training and tools like Examfly’s tax lessons quickly brought me up to speed. Mentors guided my understanding and career aspirations, and working on a client proposal allowed me to apply my legal skills to tax services. This experience deepened my understanding of the industry and shaped my future career path.

Starting my internship, I was slightly anxious as I didn’t come from a strong accounting background. However, the comprehensive training helped me settle in. The culture of mentorship truly stood out, and it was insightful to meet people from different educational backgrounds who brought a wealth of knowledge from wider industries. No day is the same in assurance, which changed my perspective on the field. Throughout the internship, we were exposed to various events and speakers.

I was excited but nervous about my summer internship at PwC, but those fears quickly vanished thanks to PwC’s welcoming culture. I was ready to focus solely on work for two months, but the excellent work-life balance blew me away. The social events, especially for summer interns, were unforgettable, allowing us to make lifelong friends. The internship exceeded my expectations, making it a fantastic summer experience.

Joining the PwC family during the 2024 summer internship was a great experience. The well-structured onboarding process and inductions gave me a big picture view of the company. Through PwC’s activities and events, I made excellent connections with the intern community. Within Risk Assurance, I was on the Data Analytics and Assurance team, working on diverse projects while learning new tools and concepts daily. Overall, it was a fulfilling experience and I highly recommend it.

In the summer of 2024, I joined the firm as a technology consulting intern. From the start, I felt at home thanks to the firm’s focus on helping newcomers settle in and building a sense of community through fun events. I worked for the Data and Analytics team, gradually taking on more complex tasks. With support from experienced coworkers, I developed a deep understanding of data concepts and tools, contributing meaningfully to projects. Overall, it was a fulfilling experience and I hope to continue my career here.

From coffee chats and lunch outings to social events, I built great connections. PwC’s friendly and supportive culture made me feel comfortable asking for help.
