Our pre-Budget 2023 webcast looks ahead to Budget 2023 and considers what might be in store.

This year’s Budget has been described as a ‘cost of living’ budget. We can therefore expect many measures that tackle inflation and support those struggling with increasing costs. But longer-term challenges—such as the housing crisis, the scarcity of public health services, our ageing population and the climate crisis—cannot be ignored.

In this webcast, Paschal Donohoe TD, Minister for Finance, joined us to share his priorities for Budget 2023. PwC’s Head of Tax, Susan Kilty, was also joined by PwC’s Doone O’Doherty and Peter Reilly, and Chris Johns, journalist and joint broadcaster of The Other Hand podcast.
