PwC expands footprint in Cork

PwC today announces an expanded footprint at its state-of-the-art premises at One Albert Quay, Cork, with the firm now adding almost 9,000 square feet, representing an increase of 50% of its entire office space in the City. As part of this expansion, PwC in Cork also announces that it is to create 150 new jobs in the year ahead including professionally qualified people and graduates, bringing headcount in PwC in Cork to some 500 people when recruitment is fully complete.

These new jobs are based in Cork, and will represent a significant increase across all business areas such as tax, advisory, audit including asset & wealth management and risk & compliance. In particular, consulting roles will be in key areas such as cybersecurity, AI and data analytics, technology transformation, sustainability and climate reporting.  

Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence, Micheál Martin, said: "I’m delighted to officially announce PwC’s Cork office expansion, building on their skilled workforce with another 150 quality jobs.

"I see this expansion as a clear vote of confidence in Cork and is proof that the very significant investment made by this Government in the region is reaping rewards."
