PwC’s alliance partners provide technology solutions that support its clients with transformation projects in areas such as Finance, HR, Customer and Cloud transformation, ESG and Cyber.

Reflecting the important role that alliance relationships play in PwC Ireland’s continued growth, the firm is investing heavily in developing stronger relationships with its alliance partners and also deeper technology delivery capability.

This investment is complementary to PwC’s recent announcement at a network level to invest over US1 billion to expand and scale its generative AI capabilities in collaboration with Microsoft. This will help PwC Ireland’s ability to support clients reimagine their businesses through the power of generative AI.

Aisling will be responsible for spearheading PwC’s engagement with its alliance partners. Working with client and delivery teams and the firm’s international network she will develop and execute PwC’s growth strategy enabled by its alliance partnerships. Hailing from Microsoft and prior to that, working in the telecommunications industry, Aisling is a proven senior business and technology leader with over 20 years experience.

To facilitate this growth, PwC Ireland is also embarking on a targeted recruitment campaign to build a team with deep technology and AI expertise to work with its strategic alliance partners. These are senior roles for ambitious individuals who want to excel their careers working with Ireland’s leading professional services firm.

Enda McDonagh, Managing Partner, PwC Ireland, said: “PwC Ireland is investing heavily in technology and AI to support our clients reinvent their businesses. Having vibrant relationships with our strategic alliance partners is critical to making this happen. We are delighted to have Aisling join our team to lead our efforts in this area.”

Speaking at the announcement, Aisling Curtis, Market Leader for PwC’s Strategic Alliances, said: “I am excited to join PwC in this important role for the firm. Our strategic alliance relationships combine powerful technology with implementation to deliver sustained outcomes for clients on their transformation journey. This will include bringing innovative technology and cloud based solutions to our clients in all areas of business including HR, Finance, IT, cyber and ESG. I look forward to working with our strategic alliance partners and PwC colleagues into the future.”
