Partner, PwC Ireland (Republic of)
Jonathan has been a partner in the Asset Management group in Ireland since 2006. He provides audit and advisory services to a range of onshore and offshore funds and investment management companies who utilise IFRS, Irish GAAP and US GAAP. These include UCITS and alternative investment funds and asset managers in Ireland.
Jonathan chairs the PwC Global IFRS Asset Management Industry Accounting Network and leads the team at PwC Dublin which provides IFRS and related Irish GAAP advice to both clients and service providers. In addition he is the Firm’s Asset Management risk management partner.
Between 1996 and 1998, Jonathan worked in PwC Toronto providing audit and business advisory services to mutual fund clients and gaining experience and knowledge of the Canadian and US Mutual and Alternatives Fund Industry.
During his career Jonathan has been heavily involved in Irish Funds activities including membership of the Transfer Agency Committee and the Technical Committee, which he chaired for a number of years. He has also been a regular speaker at Irish Funds events over these years, both locally and abroad and has travelled regularly with Irish Funds to the US, Far East as well as the UK as part of their marketing activities for the Funds Industry in Ireland and is currently a member of the Irish Funds Council.
Jonathan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
